Welcome to my blog! My name is Lea Ann. Over the years I
have been blessed to have a passion and talent that extended into a business. It all
started by marrying into a Southern family
who loved to entertain. From family
holiday celebrations to dinner parties for 4 or 40,
we always focused on good food, a styled table and lots of laughing. A
few years after we were married we moved to be closer to Atlanta for my husband's career. I did not
know a soul, but I knew
how to cook. I knew how to bake a coffee cake for the new neighbor. I knew how to open my home for dinner to get to
know new neighbors. Thank God my family taught me all about hospitality, because it has
been the foundation for many dear friendships and blessed me with doing what I
love to do. Some people might get confused on what hospitality means.
Perhaps one thinks it means throwing a flawless party, serving the perfect meal, and in a perfectly decorated home...no no no. To me it means opening your home or
your heart to provide what you have, as a gift to others. Hospitality
does not mean that everything is perfect or the meals you serve are
gourmet. It is about reaching out, welcoming people, and experiencing life together. That is what I hope to offer you here! So welcome and let's celebrate life
together one good thing at a time, with a little "Southern Flair".
So,
let's get this party started! I am so excited that the Christmas holiday is right around
the corner and I can not wait to decorate this
year. I was honored this year, to put together a style a
shoot for Southern Living Christmas at Home, at
one of my favorite communities, Serenebe. The magazine is out on the market now, so make
sure you grab a copy today. To celebrate, I
want to give back, and will be hosting a
sweepstakes to help you deck your halls. For a sneak peak of prizes follow us on Facebook or Instagram. We will be announcing a new item each week until December 19, 2014.
This week's item up for grabs, is this fabulous custom burlap tree skirt from our friend's at (Re)Design Accessories. Amy Lytle is the owner of this wonderful Etsy Shop. This is a custom made tree skirt like the one featured in the shoot. I love the rustic elegance the burlap provides when mixed with mercury glass ornaments and beautiful wrapped gifts.

(1 giveaway per week) Our way of helping you "Deck Your Halls" and spread Christmas Cheer. Christmas is a time for giving and reflecting on the ultimate gift we received by the birth of our Christ. It is a time for blessing others and sharing His love. It is my favorite time of year!
